Iran has the right to defend itself

Whatever informed the tyrant Netanyahu’s decision to authorise Israel’s wide-ranging air strikes against Iran, it was not the security of an ethno-supremacist state and project — one which on current trajectory is deservedly destined to be consigned to the dustbin of history.

No, Netanyahu — this demented leader of said demented ethno-supremacist state and project — is a man for whom Israel is but the testing ground for his own end-of-days fanaticism and mania. He has presided over the slaughter of the innocents in Palestine to the point of no return. But whereas King Herod knew the limits of his power to kill in the name of Rome, his imperial overlord, Netanyahu has embarked on a killing spree akin to that of a vicious dog that has become untethered and unleashed from its master.

The Islamic Republic of Iran can be described as many things, but powerless is not one of them. It is an ancient nation whose people well understand the virtue of strategic patience. None other than Alexander the Great is credited with conquering this Persian giant, when in truth the reality is that Persia conquered him. The proof comes with the fact that the famed Macedonian’s Greek Empire today only exists in the history books as a relic. Yet it should also be considered a warning to those leaders, such as Netanyahu, who would risk all for all in the name of personal legacy and…
