A sitting president suffering the ravages of early stage rigor mortis or a challenger riddled with early stage fascism. This is the grim choice facing Americans in 2024 over who either keeps or gains possession of the country’s nuclear codes after the first debate of this year’s presidential election, held in Atlanta and hosted by CNN.

First, on Biden, the notion that this man is fit for anything other than a nursing home right now is more than laughable it is cruel. Watching him stutter and bumble and trip over his words like a punch drunk boxer was analogous to America’s own decline as an empire that has entered its mad dog days. Rome had its Claudius and Washington has its Biden. The fact that the DNC has not yet intervened to halt the latter’s dignity being shredded in public appearance after public appearance is either because the DNC is in truth working for Trump, or it is not working at all.
